PART 50 & PART 27

PART 50 OGI & AVO PROGRAM

The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) approved LongPath Technologies on November 20, 2024, with AVO & OGI replacement effective immediately. No additional applications are needed—operators simply need to notify NMED at least 15 days before using LongPath’s system to replace your current AVO and OGI requirements.

PART 27 AVO PROGRAM

On January 22, 2025 EMNRD (Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department) OCD (Oil and Gas Conservation Division) approved LongPath Technologies to replace all AVO requirements with operator approval. The OCD requires operators to obtain approval for LongPath Technologies use on specified assets. OCD's pre-approval review combined with LongPath-provided submission documents makes this process fast and easy.

PART 27 ALARM PROGRAM

LongPath Technologies was approved as an ALARM (Advanced Leak and Repair Monitoring) monitoring technology for detecting natural gas leaks or releases under New Mexico’s Part 27 Gas Capture Rule on July 22, 2022. Division-approved technologies used to detect leaks allow operators to earn credits against reported volumes of lost natural gas pursuant to Part 27 requirements.
